Another milestone reached – topping-out ceremony for 328 apartments

The swiftly evolving FRANKY residential neighbourhood in Frankfurt’s Gallus district boasts over 1,300 flats and is therefore one of the largest city-centre housing projects in the entire Rhine-Main region. On 25 April, the completion of the building shell on Construction Site WA-7 was duly celebrated in the presence of Prof. Marcus Gwechenberger, Frankfurt City Councillor and member of the City Planning & Housing Dept. Thus, a further building section in the FRANKY neighbourhood, which covers a total of 51,000 sqm, has now seen the shell construction phase complete and work can start on the internal fit-out.

FRANKY is growing – groundbreaking ceremony takes place for the next construction area

FRANKY is fast taking shape: Work has now started on the fourth of a total of six construction areas. The groundbreaking ceremony for construction area WA-4 took place on 23 June.

A new residential quarter is fast arising at the heart of Frankfurt: FRANKY will be home to people of different generations and all manner of lifestyles. At the same time, the architectural concept envisages a shared urban space that fosters interaction.

In particular, with features such as the innovative heating concept, the wide-ranging greenery in the quarter, the careful preservation of the site’s old trees, and the creation of open spaces FRANKY is definitely ideally suited for tomorrow’s world.
